We had some wind storms the other day here. Unfortunately our tree in the backyard fell victim. This tree has been growing for almost 5 years and had actually just started giving us some real shade. I'm so sad!!!!!!
The kids thought it was so cool. We now have a "forest" in our backyard to explore.
Lots of fun until Dad gets a chainsaw and hacks it up.
Had to snap some cute ones of Jackson! He is getting so old!
Now I need to research a replacement tree. This tree had really shallow roots. I want a tree with deeper roots. Any suggestions?

Stupid wind. Scott loves his ash trees--they are quick growing and strong. Deep water makes for deep roots! Sorry about your tree. What a sad thing! :(
