Good for you for taking pictures and letting your kids enjoy it. We just walked pass the window and said wow, what a pretty sky then kept on walking. Good reminder to stop with the ciaos for just a minute to enjoy what the Lord gives us, simplicity.
I really love my memories of Bakersfield sunsets. I think they are a biproduct of pollution but I love them anyway. We get absolutely no sunsets here. Besides the fact that we have considerably less pollution, we live right next to west mountain, so the sun goes behind that mountain and we don't see it long before dusk.
We had a gorgeous sunset the other night. We had to capture it on camera, and Jacey was happy to pose.
