In July, my mom, dad, sister, niece, my four kids and I took a trip to Ventura Beach. Lots of kids make for a crazy time, but it was fun and we managed to squeeze a lot in.
The first thing the kids wanted to do was swim.
At the Harbor
The highlight of the trip was the Santa Barbara Zoo. Everyone had a great time except for Jackson who is kind of a pain and hitting his stride as a terrible two (almost.)
We got pretty close- only a glass wall separating us.

Jackson is scared of the ocean. Wha???? I had to hold him mostly the whole time.
Jaden worked on digging a hold--hit water.
Then he buried himself in it.
Jacey is the only one that got in. It was cold--cold water and cold outside.

Time to go home! Fun times! We doing it again soon.

fun beach time - even in the cold. we love the zoo, just like you. please tell me you are not going to have a terrible 2. this cant be happening.
