As mentioned before, Jared and Jaden's Birthday gift was a trip to Disneyland. Last week we went to Disneyland with John's sister Lisa and family. We had such a GREAT time. We went up the night before and stayed at the Holiday Inn. We got there in time to eat dinner and hang out at the pool.

We got up early the next morning and headed to Disneyland. We were able to walk there from our hotel. Grandma and Papa were nice to take Jackson so he wasn't there with us. We missed him, but I CAN'T imagine doing Disneyland with a baby. Especially being there from open to close. We got there before it opened and it was quite exiciting racing to our first ride with music blaring all over the park. We were able to ride everything we wanted to and didn't stand in any line longer than 10 minutes or so with the exception of the Finding Nemo ride, which was a 40 minute wait. The kids insisited we go on it. I can't imagine that it was worth it to wait 2-4 hours for that ride when it came out a year ago. Adam and Lisa's kids were fighting the stomach flu but they were troopers. Never complaining, going on every ride!!!! It made for lots of bathroom trips though.

Jacey wanted to go on every ride with Emma and Emma was so sweet to her little cousin. I'm sure she would've rather ridden more rides with the older kids.

Adam and Lisa did the teacups for us. John and I HATE the teacups.
Jacey didn't want to ride Splash Mountain, so we found some characters to meet and greet.
Jungle Cruise

The whole group on Finding Nemo. We had 11 in our group and mostly stayed together both days.
Jacey LOVES Emma
The next day we got to sleep in a little and went to California Adventure. We took advantage of the Southern California 2fer special- 2 days for the price of 1. After not making it to the Princess Faire with Jacey the day before, we made sure we caught Playhouse Disney Live first thing. The rest of the group went on the water ride.
I didn't take as many pictures this day. We went on every ride and Jared impressed me by riding California Screamin- the roller coaster- twice! We had a great time and can't wait to do it again in 5 years!!!

i'm glad you guys had so much fun. thanks again for having us for a swim. we'll need to plan a few weekends in the summer. jake cried almost the whole way home after we left the hotel.
now that makes me jealous!!!! whaaaaaaaa!!!!! i want to go to disneyland.
