Last Choir Concert

Jared had his Spring Choir Concert a few weeks ago. Doesn't he look thrilled to be there?? He mostly complained about choir and wanted to quit after the Christmas concert. I told him he could either write a letter of resignation to his choir director or stick it out for the year since he did commit to be in it for the whole year. He stuck it out. The concert was cute at always. The kids did a great job. Mr. Dyer (who is in Masterworks with me) is awesome! Always happy! Unfortunately for all the kids that love choir, it is being cut next year from the budget.

Run for a Reason

Last Saturday, we joined many others in Bakersfield for Brandon and Katie's Run for a Reason. Katie died when she was only one year old from SUDC- Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. Her family is in our ward and we went to support them. They had a GREAT turnout and raised money for support groups and research. John ran the 5K (in record time--for him) and the kids and I walked/some of them ran the 2K. This picture was after the event and Jaden was mad because his balloon that the clown made for him popped.
